Janice Randhile

Janice Randhile is a member of Alberta’s Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation who was coerced into the sex trade at the age of 17. Having experienced the trauma of the Sixties Scoop, she later worked for the Alberta government as a family liaison and support for Indigenous families affected by violence, missing persons, and exploitation. Randhile emphasizes the real connection between the sex trafficking of Indigenous women and their disappearances.
