Born in Montreal in 1933, she began her journey in women's health after facing her own struggles with menopause, leading her to write a groundbreaking newsletter, 'A Friend Indeed,' and the book 'Understanding Menopause.' Her work not only informed thousands but also inspired a movement towards greater awareness and discussion around women's health issues. Throughout her life, she balanced her roles as a mother of five, a beloved teacher, and an advocate for women's health until her passing in December 2023.
