Jānis Andris Osis

Jānis Andris Osis is a multifaceted Latvian artist known for his environmental objects, spatial works, and paintings. He has made significant contributions to the art scene in Latvia and served as a pedagogue at the Art Academy, where he was also rector from 1997 to 2007. His works often draw inspiration from nature and historical elements, exploring themes of light, shadow, and the beauty of the natural world. Recently, he was in the news for his exhibition 'Pārnesumi V,' displayed at Galerijā Daugava.
