Jaro Baláž

Jaro Baláž is a renowned Slovak cyclist and marathon runner, known for his achievements in both sports. He was a junior champion in Czechoslovakia in cycling in 1977 and has since become one of the best marathon runners in the 60+ category, winning the Slovak Championship in 2018. Baláž participated in the Memoriál Jara Vrábeľa, an event honoring the late editor of the daily newspaper Korzár, where he shared fond memories of Vrábeľa, emphasizing his positive spirit and love for running.
