Jaroslav Vasinskyj
Jaroslav Vasinskyj is a Ukrainian national, known in hacker circles as 'Rabotnik.' He gained notoriety for his involvement in a significant cyberattack in July 2021 that targeted Coop, a Swedish supermarket chain, causing widespread disruptions. After being arrested at the Polish-Ukrainian border in late 2021, he was extradited to the United States, where he was convicted of his role in the attack and sentenced to over 13 years in prison. Vasinskyj has claimed that while he was instrumental in the planning and execution of the attack, he was not the mastermind behind it, alleging connections between the hacking group Revil and Russian state actors.
