Jasleen
Jasleen is a trailblazing police constable who recently returned to Te Puke, New Zealand, where she aims to serve her community while breaking stereotypes as a female officer of Indian heritage. Having faced challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic and personal injuries, she persevered through a pre-police course and Police College, driven by her parents' encouragement. Fluent in Punjabi and Hindi, Jasleen's multilingual skills and cultural insights enable her to connect with diverse community members, particularly those from Indian backgrounds. She hopes to inspire other young women of Indian descent to pursue careers in law enforcement.
