Jason Vargas Pereira was a prominent Costa Rican rapper known for his contributions to the local hip-hop scene alongside his brother Christian Pika Vargas. The son of Eduardo Vargas, a founding member of the iconic band Los Vargas Brothers, Jason's music reflected his personal struggles, including a long battle with addiction. Tragically, he was shot multiple times in a violent attack in Alajuelita, leading to his death after weeks of hospitalization.
