Eleven-year-old Jasonnia Beadle, head girl of Park Mountain Primary and Infant School in St Elizabeth, is celebrated as Jamaica’s top performer in the 2026 Primary Exit Profile (PEP) examination, achieving an impressive score of 394.2 out of 400. Despite facing challenges, including her school's damage from Hurricane Melissa, Beadle's dedication to her studies and support from family and teachers played a crucial role in her success. With aspirations of becoming a doctor or nurse, she is set to attend Hampton School in September and encourages fellow students to remain calm and strive for excellence.
