Jassem Mohammed Albudaiwi

Jassem Mohammed Albudaiwi is the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), a regional intergovernmental political and economic union consisting of six Arab states in the Persian Gulf. Recently, he was in the news for meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to discuss the existing relations between Georgia and the GCC, as well as the potential for deeper cooperation, including a free trade agreement.
