Jaume Compte
Jaume Compte was a young Catalan nationalist who participated in the failed regicide plot against King Alfonso XIII in 1925, known as the Garraf plot. His actions were motivated by a desire for radical change in the face of political repression, and he became emblematic of the revolutionary left during the turbulent years leading up to the Spanish Civil War.
