Jayan Godakanda

Jayan Godakanda is the Chairman of the Ruhunu Tourist Board, which is the only state institution associated with the tourism industry in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. Recently, he announced that the board had surpassed its targeted revenue for the year 2026, achieving significant financial milestones ahead of schedule. Under his leadership, the Ruhunu Tourist Board has successfully implemented strategies to attract tourists and manage finances, resulting in record contributions to the provincial treasury.
