Jayan Holmes, a 21-year-old woman from St Catherine, was recently in the news after being charged with harbouring a fugitive, an accusation that stemmed from her association with Talik Chambers, a man who escaped from police custody. However, she was ultimately freed by the court as the Crown conceded that there wasn't sufficient evidence to prove she had knowingly assisted him.
