Jean-Baptiste Suzzoni, known as the 'Seigneur de Balagne,' is a celebrated journalist who began his career with Nice-Matin in the 1960s. After overcoming the language barrier of growing up in a Corsican-speaking village, he became a prominent figure in regional journalism, expanding coverage throughout the Balagne area. Suzzoni is renowned for his dedication to the profession, having worked tirelessly for 35 years before retiring in 2008. Post-retirement, he served as deputy mayor of Lavatoggio, where he continues to influence local affairs.
