Jean Carem Kaboré

Jean Carem Kaboré is a prominent figure in Burkina Faso's journalism landscape, currently serving as the coordinator of the Réseau d’initiatives de journalistes (RIJ). He was recently re-elected for a two-year term during the network's general assembly held on February 28, 2026, in Ouagadougou. Under his leadership, the RIJ aims to address the challenges of providing responsible journalism in the face of insecurity and to promote peace through conflict-sensitive reporting.
