Jean Estrugamou
Jean Estrugamou was a French immigrant who arrived in Buenos Aires in the mid-1800s. He established a successful dairy industry and became one of the largest producers in Argentina within two decades. With the family's fortune secured, he shifted to real estate investments, including the iconic Estrugamou building in Retiro, which was designed by architects Eduardo Sauze and Auguste Huguier and opened in 1929.
