Jean Humberto Miranda Ibaceta

Jean Humberto Miranda Ibaceta was a 31-year-old miner and a dedicated father of three, who was tragically found among the victims of a recent mining collapse in Chile. Born in Rancagua in August 1993, he had been working in the mining industry for a decade and had recently completed his studies as a mining technician. Known for his leadership as a master miner, Jean was responsible for preparing his team’s tools and materials at the start of each shift. He faced a previous close call in the mines due to a rock explosion and was looking forward to welcoming another child with his wife, who was nearly four months pregnant at the time of the accident.
