Jean-Jacques Asperges

Jean-Jacques Asperges is a 58-year-old journalist from Haiti, known for his courageous reporting amidst extreme violence and gang control in the country. After being forced to flee his home twice due to gang violence, he currently lives in a makeshift shelter with his family. Despite losing his equipment and suffering a gunshot wound while covering a story, he remains committed to documenting the escalating crisis in Haiti.
