Jean-Louis Porsche

Jean-Louis Porsche was a Swiss film producer born on March 29, 1949, in Lausanne, Switzerland. He began his career as a screenwriter and director before co-founding CAB Productions in 1984 with Gérard Ruyé, producing notable films such as the acclaimed 'Three Colors' trilogy by Krzysztof Kieślowski. Porsche's recent work included the film 'The Palace' (2022), which faced poor box office performance, leading to financial difficulties. Tragically, he passed away by suicide shortly after his 76th birthday, a few days after a serious car accident in 2024.
