Jeevan Desai

Jeevan Desai was a prominent anti-apartheid activist and the mentor of artist Omar Badsha, whose eloquent advocacy for non-racialism and unity among oppressed communities inspired many young activists in South Africa during the 1960s. His untimely death under suspicious circumstances had a profound impact on Badsha and the broader movement against apartheid.
