Jeffrey Mark Donaldson

Former leader of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), Jeffrey Mark Donaldson has recently made headlines following his conviction for multiple sex abuse offences, including rape, against two minors. Stripped of his knighthood by King Charles III, Donaldson was sentenced to prison after being found guilty of 18 charges at Newry Crown Court. He had previously been knighted in 2016 for his political service. In addition to his conviction, he has resigned from the UK Privy Council and is currently appealing his conviction while incarcerated at Maghaberry prison.
