Jeffrey Shiffrin

Jeffrey Shiffrin was the father of renowned American alpine skier Mikaela Shiffrin. A passionate skier himself, he played a significant role in fostering Mikaela's early interest and talent in the sport. Tragically, in February 2020, Jeffrey passed away after a fall from the roof of their family home in Vail, Colorado. His untimely death profoundly impacted Mikaela, leading her to temporarily withdraw from competitive skiing. Despite this, his legacy continues through Mikaela's remarkable achievements and resilience in the face of adversity.
