Jelisaweta Lichatschowa

Jelisaweta Lichatschowa is an art and architecture historian, former director of the Moscow Architectural Museum, and briefly head of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. She has criticized the recent reconstruction of the Stalin relief in the Moscow Metro, arguing that it is a crude imitation rather than a faithful restoration, and has expressed concern over the political implications of such displays of Stalin's image.
