Jenia Yurkovski

Jenia Yurkovski is a Belarusian-Jewish mathematical physicist who, inspired by the devastating wildfires in Greece in 2023, developed an innovative idea for preventing large-scale fires using sound sensors. His determination to find practical solutions to real-world problems exemplifies the innovative spirit often associated with Israeli society. After two years of research and development, he is now beginning to produce these devices for medium-scale testing in a forest in Israel.
