Jenife

Jenife was a Brazilian medical student living in Bolivia for about six years, who tragically became a victim of feminicide. She was found dead in her apartment, having been reported missing by her landlord. Jenife was a dedicated mother of two, maintaining close ties with her family back in Brazil. Following her death, her children and community organized protests to demand justice and raise awareness about violence against women. Her family has expressed their grief and determination to honor her memory, emphasizing the need for societal change to prevent such tragedies in the future.
