Jennifer Finch was the bassist for the iconic Los Angeles rock band L7, known for their influential role in the grunge and alternative rock scenes of the early 1990s. She co-wrote several of the band's notable tracks, including 'Pretend We’re Dead,' which catapulted L7 to international fame. Beyond her music career, Finch was also a photographer, graphic designer, and writer, and she co-founded the Rock for Choice charity concert series to advocate for women's reproductive rights. After a brief hiatus from the band, she returned for their 2014 reunion and contributed to their 2019 album 'Scatter the Rats.' Sadly, Finch passed away from brain cancer at the age of 59, leaving behind a legacy of creativity and inspiration within the music community.
