Jennifer Reschke was a 26-year-old painter who tragically died in an accident at a construction site in Westmere, Auckland, when a 330kg metal gate fell on her. She was employed by The Painting Co, a division of The Building Co, and was loved by her colleagues. Reschke's death prompted an investigation by WorkSafe, which concluded that it was a tragic accident without any fault found on the part of her employer.
