Jens Lindeman

Jens Lindeman is a renowned Canadian trumpet virtuoso and a professor at UCLA, known for his vibrant personality and exceptional musical talent. Recently, he gained media attention after losing his home in the Pacific Palisades wildfires, where he performed an emotional rendition of Charlie Chaplin’s 'Smile' amidst the ruins, expressing both sorrow and resilience. As he prepares to perform Wynton Marsalis’s Trumpet Concerto with the Spartanburg Philharmonic, Lindeman uses music as a means of healing and sharing his story of empathy with those affected by similar tragedies.
