Jernigan
Jernigan is a veteran CDC official who directed the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases, playing a critical role in influenza preparedness and response. He joined the CDC’s epidemic intelligence service in 1994 and has worked extensively on disease prevention strategies.
