Jérôme Marty

Jérôme Marty is a prominent freshwater scientist and the executive director of the International Association for Great Lakes Research (IAGLR). Based at the University of Ottawa, he has been involved in organizing conferences that bring together researchers focused on the Great Lakes. Recently, he expressed concerns over declining attendance and the impact of U.S. science funding cuts on the upcoming 68th Annual Conference on Great Lakes Research in Milwaukee.
