Jerry Butler

Butler's songwriting talents were showcased in hits like 'For Your Precious Love' and 'I've Been Loving You Too Long.' In addition to his musical career, Butler served as a politician in Illinois from 1985 to 2018. He passed away in his home at the age of 85, leaving behind a legacy of music and community service.
