Jesse Patterson

Jesse Patterson was a vibrant 13-year-old who tragically collapsed and died while participating in a cross-country event at Anchovy High School in St. James, Jamaica. Known for his joyful spirit and passion for school, Jesse had recently enrolled and was eager to excel in his studies and sports. He had a close relationship with his foster mother, Shanoi Smith, who described him as full of life and excitement about his new beginnings.
