Jessica Johanna Oseguera

Jessica Johanna Oseguera, also known as 'La Negra', is the daughter of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias 'El Mencho', the infamous leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. Born in 1987 in California, she has spent much of her life in Jalisco and Baja California. In 2021, she pleaded guilty to engaging in financial transactions linked to drug trafficking and was sentenced to 30 months in prison, being released in March 2022. Following her father's death in February 2023, she has emerged as a potential successor within the cartel, raising concerns about the future leadership of the organization.
