Jessie Holmes is a former reality television star and accomplished sled dog musher, who recently made headlines by winning the longest-ever Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, finishing a staggering 1,129 miles across the Alaskan wilderness in 10 days, 14 hours, and 55 minutes. Born and raised in Alabama, he moved to Alaska in 2004, where he embraced a subsistence lifestyle and developed a passion for dog mushing. Holmes previously competed in the Iditarod seven times, achieving multiple top-10 finishes, and gained fame as a cast member of the National Geographic series 'Life Below Zero.'
