Jesús Mendoza

Jesús Mendoza is a Venezuelan artist and designer, originally from Motatán, who has gained recognition for his powerful social commentary through graphic art. After leaving Venezuela due to political and socio-economic crises, he settled in Chile where he continues to create impactful pieces that reflect the struggles and resilience of his compatriots in exile. Mendoza's work often focuses on themes of protest and integration, as he aims to raise awareness about the experiences of Venezuelan migrants. His artistic journey began in childhood and has evolved through his studies in design and experiences in journalism, allowing him to convey potent messages without the need for words. His recent pieces also highlight the contributions of Venezuelans in Chile, particularly during humanitarian efforts, such as providing aid to victims of the wildfires in Viña del Mar in 2024.
