Jim Frecklington was an Australian master craftsman known as the last royal coachmaker for the British monarchy, having dedicated nearly five decades to building ornate horse-drawn carriages. He created three significant carriages for the royal family, including the 'Australian State Coach' and the 'Diamond Jubilee State Coach.' His final project, the 'Commonwealth Royal Coach' for King Charles III, remained unfinished at the time of his death on September 11, 2023, due to cancer.
