
Jim Larkin
James Larkin, commonly referred to as Jim Larkin, was a prominent Irish trade union leader and socialist activist in the early 20th century. He is best known for founding the Irish Transport and General Workers' Union and for his role in the 1913 Dublin Lock-out, which was a major industrial dispute. Larkin’s advocacy for workers' rights and social justice positioned him as a key figure in Irish labor history, and he inspired future generations of activists.
