Jimmy Daniel Martin

Jimmy Daniel Martin has recently been appointed as the Minister of Public Health in Ecuador, taking the position on July 15, 2025. He brings a wealth of experience from both the public and private sectors, having previously served as the National Director of Health Research at the Ministry of Public Health. His appointment comes at a time of significant turnover within the ministry, which has seen five ministers since President Daniel Noboa took office in November 2023.
