Jimmy Daniel Martin Delgado

Jimmy Daniel Martin Delgado has been appointed as the new Minister of Public Health in Ecuador by President Daniel Noboa, following the resignation of his predecessor. Delgado has an extensive background in both public and private health sectors, having served as the national director of health research within the ministry prior to his new role. He holds a Ph.D. from the University Miguel Hernández in Elche, Spain, and has worked as an international consultant for the Pan American Health Organization in several countries. Additionally, he has experience as a professor at the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil and was the head of the Hospital Research Department at the Guayaquil Charity Board.
