Jimmy Shaw was a talented American actor who gained popularity in Spain for his role as Mateo in the comedic television series 'La que se avecina.' Born in 1966 in Los Angeles and raised on the East Coast, Shaw pursued his acting career with training in New York under esteemed teachers like Uta Hagen and Warren Robertson. After a successful career in theater and television in the U.S., including appearances in 'Will & Grace,' he moved to Madrid, where he not only acted in numerous Spanish television series but also dedicated himself to teaching and mentoring aspiring actors.
