Jitan Manjhi

Jitan Manjhi is an Indian politician and the leader of the Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM), a party he founded after breaking away from the Janata Dal (United). He served as the Chief Minister of Bihar for a brief period in 2014 and has been a significant figure in Bihar politics, particularly representing the Mahadalit community. In the recent Bihar elections, Manjhi's HAM allied with Nitish Kumar's NDA, contributing to the coalition's landslide victory by increasing its vote share significantly.
