Joan Obiols

Joan Obiols is a pioneering figure in Andorran mental health, having led the transformation of mental health services in the country nearly thirty years ago. Under his leadership at the SAAS, he advocated for a more community-oriented approach that moved away from the marginalization of patients and emphasized the importance of housing, support, and integration into society.
