Joaquín Domínguez Parada was a Salvadoran lawyer, notary, and sculptor, who played a significant role in advocating for human rights during the civil conflict in El Salvador. He was a co-founder of the Central American Refugee Center (CARECEN) in the United States, which assisted Salvadoran emigrants fleeing violence. Domínguez Parada's creativity shone through in his artistic pursuits, and he remained steadfast in his revolutionary ideals until his passing in 2025.
