Joel Alexander Zelaya Rodríguez has been formally charged with the parricide of his parents, Santos Mario Zelaya Lagos and Verónica Yolanda Rodríguez Alvarenga, as well as the murder of his young nephew, Yeffrey Mateo Zelaya Ramos.
