Joel Arcilio Alcaraz Álvarez

Joel Arcilio Alcaraz Álvarez, 33, was recently detained in Ciudad del Este for his alleged involvement in a violent robbery that resulted in two fatalities. He was found in possession of police uniforms, tactical gear, and firearms while driving a Toyota IST. Alcaraz Álvarez has outstanding warrants for family violence and failure to comply with legal child support obligations. His arrest occurred shortly after an armed confrontation during an attempted robbery of cryptocurrency mining machines, where one assailant was killed, and a business owner was fatally shot.
