Johann Coaz

Johann Coaz was a prominent Swiss topographer and mountaineer, celebrated for his numerous first ascents in the Alps, including the Piz Bernina; he also made significant contributions to forest management and avalanche prevention during his career as the first federal forest inspector of Switzerland.
