Johann J Cárdenas

Johann J Cárdenas is a transportation engineer with a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He is an active researcher at the Illinois Center for Transportation, where he focuses on traffic flow and urban mobility challenges. Cárdenas was recently in the news discussing the severe congestion issues at the intersection of Av. Reducto and 28 de Julio in Miraflores, attributing the frequent traffic jams to poor road design and the convergence of multiple high-traffic arteries.
