Johanna Carolina Bukele Handal

Johanna Carolina Bukele Handal is a Costa Rican politician and the cousin of El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele. Recently, she has been involved in a new political party, Partido Avanza, which has been officially registered to participate in the 2026 national elections in Costa Rica. Previously, she attempted to engage in politics in 2021, contributing to the Alianza Democrática Nacional party alongside her father and siblings. In her current party, she serves as the alternate treasurer in Santa Ana.
