Johanna Frid

Johanna Frid, born in 1988 in Stockholm, is a celebrated Swedish author and poet known for her innovative works that blend autofiction and poetry. She made her literary debut in 2017 with the poetry collection "Familieepos," co-authored with Gordana Spasic, which received nominations for prestigious awards. Her breakthrough novel, "Nora eller Brinn Oslo brinn," published in 2018, earned her the Dagens Nyheters Kulturpris and established her as a significant voice in contemporary Swedish literature. In 2023, she released the novel "Haralds mamma," with a forthcoming book titled "Marianne?" set to be published in 2026.
