Johannes Zeeshan Lövestam Öberg

Johannes Zeeshan Lövestam Öberg is a 26-year-old Afghan refugee and social work student living in Sweden. He has navigated a complex journey from fleeing his war-torn homeland to seeking acceptance and citizenship in Sweden. Born as Zeeshan Haidari in Ghazni, Afghanistan, he and his family fled to Pakistan to escape persecution. After arriving in Sweden as a teenager, he adopted the name Johannes upon converting to Christianity. He works at a grocery store while completing his studies and has expressed a deep desire to be fully recognized as a member of Swedish society.
