John Dankworth

John Dankworth was a renowned British jazz musician and composer, celebrated for his contributions to the genre as a clarinetist and saxophonist. He was also a pivotal figure in the establishment of The Stables arts centre alongside his wife, acclaimed jazz singer Dame Cleo Laine. Throughout his career, he collaborated with numerous legendary artists and played a significant role in the British jazz scene from the 1950s until his passing in 2010.
